One of the privileges of Patrolling: opening the mountain!
The time commitment for patrolling with the Summit at Snoqualmie Central Ski Patrol involves working 15 weekend shifts per season. A shift is an ~8 hour day or evening weekend duty shift. Additionally, patrollers are required to attend continuing training sessions pre-season to stay updated on skills and protocols. This ensures that all patrollers are well-prepared for the season ahead and can provide the best possible service on the slopes.
